I am thankful that last night Joshua and I were able to go out on a real live, kid-free date. Barb graciously took time out of her busy schedule to come over and watch the kids so Joshua and I could go out to eat at Applebee's. We ate delicious food that I didn’t have to prepare and talked about baby names, psalm singing Dutchmen, the origin of Pentecost and Seinfeld. The best part is that we didn’t even have to pay for this grand experience since we were using an Applebee’s gift card that Joshua had received for his birthday.
We had a great time and I’m so very thankful that I have a husband who still loves to take me on dates.
